Description

Hestia is a secure medical data exchange platform for collecting and analysing patients’ physiological data, measured by connected sensors available on the market and in pharmacies.

Collected data is shared with the doctor via a mobile application. It is therefore easy to monitor the progress of patients requiring medical follow-up without having to visit the practice.

The physiological data collected from time to time provides an overview of patients’ condition. These measurements can be accessed by doctors at any time via mobile and desktop applications.

Technical specifications

This project has been designed using a micro-services architecture to allow greater flexibility in its future extensions.

Different databases have been set up depending on the nature of the information stored in them.

The services were built in NodeJS, to take advantage of its event-driven architecture. The APIs were designed and implemented in compliance with the Swagger directives.

All the back-end components are scalable and responsive. Several environments have been defined for deploying services, in particular through the use of CI/CD pipelines.
